Separation on death

To see a couple together at the end of their life makes you think. Okay, you have those who don’t like it other and it is a relief when one goes. You also have those who married later in life so haven’t had a lifetime together. The ones of interest are those who married young, stayed together and just fit. They remain dedicated to each other. Then one dies and the other continues on. Some continue. For others, they don’t and slip away soon after their mate dies. A lifetime of togetherness cannot be undone.
