Downsizing

She wheeled the clothes rack out of the shower and into her bedroom. Then she showered. After she wheeled the clothes back into the shower. After breakfast, she came back to her room and wheeled the clothes into the bedroom so she could brush her teeth. Then the clothes went back into the shower and the door closed. Open any cupboard or drawer and it was a battle to close the drawers and doors. Every part of her room stored what had once filled a three-bedroom house. She couldn’t bear to part with the belongings it had taken all of her married years to collect. It was hard for her to move into one room. To lose her memories as well was too much.
