Lift your leg straight up

Head to the side, hold it and back to the front. Lift your leg straight up in front of you. Now raise the other leg up. The music is light and cheerful. Some can’t manage to raise the legs, so make a little kicking movement. Arm stretches vary. Some can raise arms above the head and others barely make it to shoulder height. It’s morning exercises. Everyone is encouraged to attend although only a few exercise each session. Everyone sits on a hard chair and raises and lowers their legs and arms on command. It doesn’t seem like much yet it makes a difference.
