Morning Shop

She arrives at the shops about10am. It’s such a chore getting ready. The arthritis slows her down. Without the carers, it wouldn’t happen. Then the home’s bus takes her and the other shoppers out for the morning. People from the home enjoy going out for the day. She likes some time to herself when she goes. She just wants a few items. Biscuits, some decent shampoo. The home’s shampoo dries out her hair. The bus driver kept an eye on everyone. She always drifts back and joins the others for a coffee. Every Tuesday a nice half day out and back for lunch.
