Mostly Happy Stories

I show mostly happy snippets of older people. The sea of pinnies provides a positive image for when people spill food. Families have different ways of visiting the older person. Some laugh and others remain respectfully quiet. Some older people have cheeky ways, scoffing chocolates before breakfast. Someone with dementia may still know what happens to them. Older people might be grumpy or very sweet. Each one has a story. Nursing homes have a reputation for being dreary at times if not dangerous. Elder abuse comes from not seeing an older person as someone whose life should matter. A person sits there before you. They see you. Do you see the person before you? Be respectful.
