Flowers and Things

They sit in the sitting area looking at the TV. So they look away from the windows. On the table, someone has placed a vase of blossom. If they notice, then they will know that it is spring. When they wake up it will be light outside because the sun has already risen. The sun shining through the glass might feel a bit warmer. When they do venture outside which doesn’t happen often they go straight to the car. The heater masks the real temperature so they may not know if it is warm or cool. Few sit outside. They stay in the half light of the home. The day revolves around food not seasons and the outside world.
