Sitting Down

She sits sideways on her walking frame with one foot on the ground. With little steps, she pushes herself along. The footpath has a slight slope and the walker keeps going the wrong way. She stops when she sees someone walking by. She smiles, says “hello” and adjusts her two handbags. When the person passes, she again starts her sideways

shuffle. It will be a long walk.
