Sit and wait

He looks for somewhere to sit. He limps over to the brick wall that borders the small tree. He eases himself down and sits. A few minutes later she comes out of the shop. He pushes himself up off the wall and follows her to the next shop. She skips that one and goes to the next. Another tree is in front with a low brick wall. He lowers himself down with a thud. She’ll stop soon. Her arthritis will trump shopping.
