Shopping Done

She heads down the escalator. Her walking frame has plastic bags piled high. Plus the handles hold two or three bags each. She leans over the handlebars. The haul looks like a good week’s worth of shopping. The exhaustion on her face says everything. It’s tiring. No doubt her back aches and she has swollen feet. Hopefully, she got herself a treat.
